Just bought a boost gauge and wondering which vent i need to place the gauge in the centre dash vent?
I know it can be done but i cant seem to find the vent anywhere
-
its usually in driver side vent near the door but you need a proper vent fit the boost gauge in
-
I know about the drivers side vent but im wanting to put it on the centre vent like this...

I was looking for a centre dash one a while ago but could only ever find a LHD version which angles the wrong way. Better off getting the outer vent, much easier to get hold of
-
Damn so theres nothing for RHD cars :sad1:

If the vents are the same size...there are outer vent mounts for LH drive that would have the angle you seek for a center vent mount on a RH drive.
This is a LH side vent mount...if it would fit a center vent, it would have the correct angle for your center mount you seek: https://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_V--2.0T/Interior/Gauges/ES2075349/

Question is are the outer vents and centre vents both the same size?

No mate, its bigger and slightly curved more. i was looking for a center one and gave up (Pretty Quickly) i fitted my drivers side gauge last night and its not as badly placed as you think.
i would still prefer it in the middle though so let me know if you have any luck :happy2:

It can be done guys, just need to find out how :signLOL:
