Hello folks!
Have recently bought my 3rd Golf GTI (had a Mk3 8v and a Mk3 16v Anniversary previously), it's only been a week but I'm loving it!
The car has done just under 90k, cambelt etc was changed the day before I bought it, rusty arches are getting changed on warranty in Feb which is good.
The car has been on a long service interval which is due in February, my plan is to put it onto regular service interval ASAP. Just wondering what else I should be doing first and foremost? Been reading about cam followers and ripped DV's, anything else I should inspect/change?
Cheers

Welcome dude, from what you have already done or propose to do I would suggest you might want to check ur Pcv. I'd also be tempted to change the oil pick up. Then check everything else and modify modify and modify. :signLOL:

Thanks for the replies!
Is changing the oil pick-up easy? Guess it's just a case of removing the sump? Will check the PCV as well...
Ignore the above, just found the guide! Just need a spell of decent weather to carry out the work!
