they fit this type of tyre to the passat that come with no spare.Inside the tyre thier is like a tar solution that prevents your tyre going down when you have a puncture but the problem is you have a job removing it when you do get a puncture and most tyre places will tell it needs replacing

45 is the wrong profile. It should be 40.
The correct size is 225/40/18.

I liked the Contisport 3. Good tyre for ride comfort on 18s.
Something else I've noticed with Contisports over the years, they are lighter than their rivals and seem to need far less balance weights too. They must have uber consistent production!
