Title: Posting Tyres
Post by: Berry on March 06, 2016, 11:55:37 pm
Posting tyres. A lot of couriers don't seem to take them from what I can tell.
Any recommendations? And roughly how much?

Cheers

Had good experiences with Paisley Freight myself, although seen mixed reviews. Price dependent on size

Have a look on interparcel...some couriers on there will take tyres. You have to look through their restrictions to check though. From memory, parcel force are usually the cheapest quote but won't take wheels or tyres.

I've used interparcel a few times, having sent wheels with tyres for about £12/wheel.

Another vote for Paisley freight. Never had a problem posting wheels with them and always a 48 delivery. Cheap too.

Always used Paisley Freight for wheels, have used them for tyres a couple of times too, only had one issue of non collection but that was sorted and they were collected the following day.

I've sent tyres before by Parcel2go before and not had any issues, I normally send as pairs taped together.

I've used Parcel2go and chosen Yodel as the carrier before. No problems.

Brilliant thanks all.
Sorted it with Paisley Freight, collected today.
Hassle free to sort out. Hoping it gets there ok, sure it will.
