Afternoon all.
Noticed today the window opening/closing via the remote has ceased to work?! Is this something I can reprogram myself or is it a Vagcom jobbie? Cheers
-
Gti or Ed30 ?
-
keys in ignition position two I believe. don't start it.
Front windows all the way down then release button windows all the way up release button windows all the way down and hold for 5 seconds and then release. should be done.
-
It's a edition. I'll try the above cheers. Just noticed aircon is not blowing cold now!
-
The above doesn't seem to have worked. Any other ideas chaps?
-
Did you do try it with the driver side button only chap?.
Another way is to put key in the driver's door and turn key in the open position until all your windows open fully down automatically then turn opposite direction until fully closed and see if that does it.
-
Yeah have tried multiple combos. Fronts down up then all four down and hold for 5secs. Drivers down up down for 5. Also key in door doesn't seem to work either. Will have to get it scanned for the aircon issue so maybe that will show the problem.

Quite odd but let us know.

Happened to @Gtiene (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=15282) on his golf - we reprogrammed it back in using VCDS
-
I know when you take the battery out it all goes back to manual press and hold but after a reset usually goes back to total full closer. cars ey?. :signLOL:

Same thing happened to mine (edition 30). For some reason that, and a few other features, had been disabled out of the blue. I just switched them back on again with the Long coding helper in the central convenience module with VCDS.
