Title: Quick question regarding rear brake caliper replacement?

Just want to know when you buy new caliper, do you have to loosen/decompress the piston halfway like 180 degrees before fitting? It's for a 1.9 TDI.

Should just be a case of fitting new caliper. Don't need to touch the new piston piston at all.
