Title: headlight washers not working

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Am i right in thinking that it could just be a fuse?? Iv not checked the fuses yet and cant take it to vw til weekend (if i have to)

The cold may have just frozen them a little. Try warm water?

Or if you've used them when they've been frozen and not been able to raise that could have blown a fuse? That happened to me on my old car.

My vRS developed the same problem. I found the 20 amp fuse blown. It probably blows when it's frozen up due to siezed motor. I haven't changed mine yet as i'm waiting for the temps to rise or it wil probably blow again.

x2 this used to happen all the time on my old range rover all round the car, especially if the headlights are on and they attempt automatically  :smiley:

If VW find it's blown a fuse they will probably charge you labour cost for diagnosis and the cost of a fuse.

Best check the obvious before paying a visit to your local stealership...
