Hello mate,

I may be wrong, but that looks like an R at the end of the part number. I believe that may be for the PCV valve as I've just had the latest revision PCV valve and thats a revision R.

Hope that helps!  :happy2:

Just looked back through documents it turns out it has a genuine revision D from VW are the revision D any good or am I better off getting a higher one before it gets mapped?

i have a rev D - works fine but can be prone to boost leaking. rev G is the one most people go for as they hold boost the best but they still can split sometimes

Sorry I missed this, many say rev G but I say to save you a lot of hassle over time just buy yourself a GFB dv + like I did and it'll be the last time you replace your dv diaphragm  :happy2:

I think I may have to go down this route too. Is the GFB a direct replacement for the current DV? What are the costings etc. and where's best place to buy?

I've just bought one from demon tweeks but they're slightly cheaper from AMD.

[/quote]No you'll need the dv too but only swopping out the diaphragm. YouTube gfb and you'll figure it out.
