Title: R32 tailgate rust

hey. anyone know how the warrenty for rust corrotion on the tailgaite to a R32? 2006 150.000km.
will VW cover it or will it go from my wallet?

Tailgate rust (around badge?) is quite hard to get paid for. There has been success, but it really depends on your local dealer/bodyshop. The will say it's a mechanical fault where the badge has touched the body or that jewelry has caused it or something similar, they also may say that "It's a folded panel so not covered" or something similar... We all know it's caused by water sitting there, so good luck!
