Getting on in my years now, and suffering more frequent back ache, generally, and when driving...... So, does the lumbar adjustment thingy move up and down (vertical), or in / out (horizontal)? Tried adjusting mine and it makes naff all / hardly any difference, so I'm not sure how it adjusts. Anyone know, please? Manual seats...
Thnx

Hi, it moves in and out on your back support and the bolster also move in and out.
Try resting on it and feel the movement's it makes when using the toggle.
Sorry I missed the manual part  As above get electric heated seats as I have in mine.

The Ed30 and Pirelli seats move in and out and up and down electrically, plus they are heated , may be worth you getting a set :happy2:

i've got manual seats but the lumbar support is still electric. should definatly feel it moving

If you've got cloth seats with the manual adjuster on the side, you should definitely be able to feel it moving in and out.
If you can't and it feels like sitting in a bucket, the cables snapped.

Gonna try it again.... whereabouts up the seat backrest is it? bottom; middle or top? so I know where to check

Its in the lower part. Imagine being sat in the seat, when adjusted, the seat will support the arch in your back.
