Are you going for a k04 turbo by any chance @r5gtt (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=11199) ?  :signLOL:

No @jhook661 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=11500) just don't want any issue with fueling when going stage 2 and would get RS4 injectors for K04

Bloody stupid mate. The K03 injectors have been run up to 350hp and the K04 injectors aren't exactly the most reliable. You WILL NOT need K04 injectors at stage 2

I've told you this before @r5gtt

You won't gain a thing.

@DAN_FR it's not about any gain as I've had 630 dekas on my tt. it's more about reliability and the standard injectors could fail at any point just like others who have had injector problems and possibly you too @AJP (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=11926)

I have had injector problems, yes, and it seems I've got another playing up, as you know.

But... I really don't think that's down to them being at their flow limits or anything like that. They just fail. A k03 injector at 290bhp is no less capable than a k04 injector at 290bhp.

If, however, you could show me some evidence or theory that the k04 injector is more reliable (as in less likely to fail, rather than has a higher flow potential) than a k03 injector, well I'm all ears!

K04 injectors are less reliable. Leave it alone, seriously......

Plus I can't imagine any tuner wanting to take it on as nobody will have prepared a base file for larger injectors on the standard tiny turbo.

That's saved you some money @r5gtt hasn't it?!

Anyone want to buy some s3 injectors £180 :signLOL:

Thanks @Dan_FR (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=9513) and @AJP (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=11926)

The end  :happy2:

Not quite.  You could use the money to get your K03 injectors flow tested and balanced/correct if you have a burning desire to spend some of that money......  as long as you have a HPFP upgrade you'll have all the fuel you need for the K03 turbo

Not the end  :sad1:  :signLOL:

That's @DAN_FR yurr a diamond and savine money that I'd be otherwise throwing away  :drinking:

Eventually the inlet has to come off as I'm certain the head is clogged up with carbon so thought I'd do the injectors whilst at it but if I donr have to replace them I won't. Yeah fitted the VIS hpfp internal into the spare pump yesterday and it feels nice and tight so hopefully it'll be ok.

Just remember you need a new seal kit each time you remove injectors.  Around a tenner per injector from memory

This is only if you remove the injectors mind. It is possible to remove the manifold and de-coke the inlet without removing them.

Really I'd rather do that if I'm able  :stupid:  :signLOL: I've been through worse jobs like the fto rear bank plugs lol Thanks yet again

Agree that S3 injectors are no improvement at stage 2. I have them because K04 and GIAC tune required them. Select your tuner before you upgrade to another turbo and find out which injector they suggest.

Thank you all for your help and advice I'm not going to buy the injectors. I maybe selling it today if the guy really wants it as he sounds very interested and may get a Audi tfsi quattro if I find thr right spec for the right price
