I'm wondering if anyone on here can give me some advice on the number plate I have on retention. I have been asked to sell it but for what price I am unsure!! I had it on my edition 30 which I sold but still have the plate. The plate is E3OLF which did look rather good and did get quite a few good comments. Can anyone give me some advice on what I should sell it for.

I'll give you £50 for it.

Tell you what I'll give you the reg plate and I'll also give you the £50 aswell.

Only kidding mate!
I guess number plates are one of those things that are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. A certain set of numbers/letters may be worth a hell of a lot more to one person and nothing to another.
If this was my plate, I'd probably advertise it for a reasonable £300ish. People always think their number plates are worth a lot more, but I found from previous experience they are difficult to sell for a decent price.
Realistically you should be able to achieve around £300 for yours I'd imagine.
Good luck!

Why don't you run it past Registration Transfers, or some other registration dealer. I bought one from them several years ago, and they were quite professional then. Worth having a conversation.

It's only worth buying if you space it illegally to say E 3OLF
Otherwise the correct spacing would just say E3 OLF
Like someone said try a site that buys plates online but they won't offer much as will have to sell it to someone with OLF as initials or something. Maybe £150 at a guess?

A few years ago someone on ukmkivs probably would have had this. There were quite a few mk4s with Bora front ends; known as a 'Bolf'. Or it might have been Boras with a mk4 front end.
Either way, try ukmkivs maybe?

Reg Transfers will tell you its worth about £2k . You then allow them to advertise and sell it for you. You can do it online without soeaking to anyone , go to their website , its easy to get a valuation.
In reality you will struggle to sell it as there are way too many numbers out there now and new ones being created all the time.

A quick check on http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/search/prefix-number-plates.html?prefix=E&numbers=&letter1=O&letter2=L&letter3=F&action=index&pricefrom=0&priceto=&prefixmatches=&searched=true&openoption=&language=en&prefix2.x=33&prefix2.y=17&super=&super_pricefrom=&super_priceto= (http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/search/prefix-number-plates.html?prefix=E&numbers=&letter1=O&letter2=L&letter3=F&action=index&pricefrom=0&priceto=&prefixmatches=&searched=true&openoption=&language=en&prefix2.x=33&prefix2.y=17&super=&super_pricefrom=&super_priceto=) shows similar numbers at £399, I would say that's the most you'll get for yours.

Surprised me those prices, but then there are loads of number plates about now
