Inside my owners wallet that contains all the handbooks there is a black plastic tag looped around the binder.
On one side there is a black label with the last 7 digits of the chassis number in white.
On the other side there is a white label with two numbers on the top row and five numbers starting with a zero on the row below.
What are these numbers, particularly the number 0xxxx?

I think its the key code, but I might be talking b@ll@ox :laugh:

Just blank out most of the numbers before posting the pic as it'll give a more educated idea on what it is...

I think they are used if you lost your keys - they have a unique number on them.

You can still get keys replaced fine. The code is also stored against the chassis no by Vw
