Couple of quick questions guys:
I've got a 2009 Jetta 2.0 CR TDi 140bhp Sport and want to know what size the standard front brake discs are as I want to upgrade to GTi 312mm discs and pads and I've been reading that cars with standard 288mm discs can use the original calipers when upgrading as they share the same calipers as the GTi whereas cars with 280mm discs need the calipers changing as they run different ones.
Secondly, what discs do I actually need, checked the VW TPS website and there's 3 different discs listed for the mk5 with 2.0 TFSI 200bhp engine.

You need GTI calipers brackets and 312 mm discs with part number starting with 1K0.

I will have my front GTI brake setup for sale soon if youre interested?, Discs, pads, calipers, caliper carriers and hoses

Won't my existing calipers be the same if I have standard 288mm discs which I believe I should have with having the 2.0 CR TDi 140bhp engine?

A 30 second search on google would tell you exactly what you need to know:

Funnily enough i removed my 312mm set up last week to fit the 345mm S3 upgrade. You should find a pair of carriers without issue
