Engine management light is showing constant. I bought this cheap scanner and connected as instructed but 'no codes' is showing. I'm not sure it's works correctly as the following does not happen:
A sequence of messages showing the protocols will be observed on the display until the vehicle protocol is detected.
Car runs perfectly as far as I can tell. Last year the light came on and I took it in to main dealer who 'cleared faults due to being intermittent', advised replacement of EVAP system if fault persists.
