Title: Dash Cam Advice
Post by: jamie on November 27, 2016, 03:30:56 pm
Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good, budget dash cam?

Just something that records footage to an sd-card, records when it receives power from cig. Lighter.

I've seen a few around but wondered if anyone can speak from experience as the best one to own. Less than £80 if possible?

Thanks!

I had the mini dash cam but it was sh*t. It sometimes didn't record!

Switched to this one now and is better quality and works flawlessly

the wedge style ones are very discrete and can be fitted very neatly behind the rear view mirror.lots of comparisons and reviews on you tube .

I have a Vanture N1 from Amazon.  It's £80 but I got it on offer a while back for £60.

Very small, neat mount which allows you to remove camera without removing the USB cable.   Very good quality video. Also well built.

I've used the transcend drive pro for last 2 years with no issues. Good small adhesive mount that fits it neatly behind the mirror, so is hidden up out the way. Only give away is the silver on the camera body.
