Title: Vagcom help needed

Just got myself a mk6 gti and the other 1/2 has a mk5 tdi so I want some sort of vagcom cable to set light settings etc and the basic stuff, can someone recommend a lead etc that will do the job? I'm a novice with this sort of technology so need help! Will a cheap ebay lead do all the general settings or are they a waste of time? a link to one that someone has been successful with would be great. thanks in advance

Will this work ok on my mk6 and do everything I need it to? like code lights, and heated seats etc?
