Had my GTI for just under a week and so far really enjoying the experience.
It's a one owner from new with full VW service history. The previous owner had owned since new and was only selling due to a upgrading to a MK7 GTI.
Apparently a rare colour especially as it's a 2007 model!!
Coming from a Q5 this little beauty feels rapid.
Previously owned a 2012 S3 and 2009 Focus RS and the Golf is right up there with them both.

I have a lazer blue 3 door but 05. Wasnt sure they did after 2005 so top find !
Wonder if it was imported over prior to registration in the U.K.?

As for maybe being imported, give VWUK a ring and give them the chassis number, they might be able to give you some history on the car.
What kind of plans have you got for the car?

Good shout Chris. I might just do that tomorrow.
There's an 05 laser blue on eBay at the moment.
No plans to modify yet. Want to enjoy her in standard form for a while.
Will let you know what VW UK say.

Mines an import from Dubai - sunroof with xenons drivers electric seat cruise, MFSW and parking sensors fitted. Came in white.

The previous owner who had purchased it from new says he purchased it from the showroom where it was on display.
Certainly is an interesting one

I know a lot of these were imported back into the u.k by motorpoint but not sure if all of them came via the same route.
Does help they come with a really good spec on them. Love the sunroof on mine (even though it has stared to leak from time to time!)

I'm presuming so as it was a new vehicle at the time.

Such good fun to drive. Gave her another good clean at the weekend.
This car is a credit to its previous owner as it's been well looked after.

Looking good, never seen a laser blue on an 07, thought the colour was dropped in 2006 along with other changes to the spec
I think it was a late registered import as the log book was first stamped/registered in Dubai.
Possibly the last registered Laser Blue in the UK?

I have a laser blue with sunroof and xenons, plus heated seats - 2005 though. I didn't think it was that rare a combination. I agree the colour is great in the sunshine, but then sometimes I think it looks just darker and non-metallic in duller light conditions......strange
