Great idea if you can get free wood in the required thickness/width...but not easy around here.
If not, it will be cheaper to buy steel ramps, imho!

It will take a lot of thicknesses of scaff planks to get the lift needed to equal  proprietary ramps! Even then scaff planks would be a bit narrow, and the guke and screws neede will cost more than the quoted £10.

I do like the idea of a selectable gradient, and that could beuseful in avoiding striking the splitter.

I made some a while back so I could get up onto some plastic ramps (car too low). Can't remember where I put them  :signLOL:
