As title....Plan on changing battery sometime, but I don't have the code for the radio / satnav. It's the standard OEM one. Car is 05. Any thoughts, please...
Cheers

When I changed my battery it didn't require a code. I have the factory MFD sat nav.

If it does ask for code start your car it should start working after a few seconds

Mines same year and I've disconnected the battery quite a few times and its never asked for a code.

It'll be fine, had mk5 and mk6 battery's off my cars for over 24 hours before and didn't lose the radio code

The radio code is stored in the cluster on mk5s and more recent models. You won't need the code and VW doesn't give it anyways. Only saw a few people saying otherwise but not sure what were their radios.
