Title: GTI front conversion question.
Post by: Christiank on April 27, 2017, 03:31:21 pm
Hey.
I've got a GTI front planned for my TDI model - not the facelifted one

So I'm planning to switch the carrier since I'm replacing my inter cooler anyway.

Will the upper and lower crash panel fit the new GTI carrier or do that also have to be replaced?

@Andy tried this, and IIRC he went back to the older bumper as the fit wasn't straightforward.

He should be able to answer your questions anyway.

Already ordered the GTI carrier..
Guess I'll have to source out a lower and upper barrier panels to get it fit properly

Yeah I know it's possible to cut it, but really don't like cutting away 2 fixing points
