Title: Remote lock, still no success

Remote stopped working, replaced battery, checked every fuse and reset by unhooking battery, still no joy. Can anyone suggest a next step please?

You mean the remote on the key ? Does it work with the lock and unlock botton on the drivers door?

Thanks for asking, nothing happens at all. However I found the spare key under the hallway cupboard last night -been missing 2 months- and it works fine locking and unlocking remotely. Still leaves me wondering why the first key isn't working.....the red light on the key lights up fine so it's not the battery.

Probably needs reprogramming if battery is low or removed.
I'm not sure of the exact procedure but a google search should help.
