Title: Losing steering wheel controls?

Hi guys, looking to swap my stereo out for a single din, I'm looking at this one

It states this at the bottom of the advert

Please Note
 
Will not work steering wheel controls if fitted. Additional Interface will have to be purchased from us at 44.99 if you want them to carry on working


Does this mean just the up and down sound control or the whole mfsw? I.e. No onboard computer

Just the volume....get the stereo separately, the connects 2 steering con trol module and the facia from vw... Looks and works so much better.

I have a Sony single din and connects 2 harness.  I have full control from  wheel.

However my MFD controls were always on my wiper stalk

If you're not set on the blue colour and want a bit cheaper http://www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/car-stereos/ex-display-jvc-kd-r471-car-stereo (http://www.halfords.com/technology/car-audio/car-stereos/ex-display-jvc-kd-r471-car-stereo) halfords have one for sale might be the model before though, plus you could get them to fit it :P
