I want to put a USB port in front of the gearstick next to the ESP and TC buttons. I've already researched the RNS510's USB options, but it doesn't have any - other than the MDI unit.
But has anyone taken the CD Changer voltage feed to power up a 12V - 5V DC DC Converter instead? http://www.my-gti.com/529/volkswagen-rns-510-pin-assignments
Seems a bit neater than running wires to the fuse box!
