I've just jumped in the car to go grab some milk.... as you do on a Saturday morning! and I can't start the car. :sad1:
I can put the key in the ignition and it turns slightly once and won't go any further, it doesn't get to the point for the lights to come on the dash.
The car locks/unlocks fine. I've disconnected the battery for 15 minutes etc.
It's as if it's suddenly the wrong key or something!
Any ideas what I try at this point?
Could it be a blown fuse?

Assume you've tried wiggling the steering wheel as you're turning the key?

OK, so I've been managing to get by with this.
A lot of the time the ignition works but I have to use considerable force to turn key either on or off.
How cheap/easy is it to change the ignition barrel?
How much is a garage likely to want to charge me for this?
