Does it display the boost pressure on the Mk5 Golf (and related VAG siblings)???

I think that is one thing it cannot do. :happy2:
-
No Steve, it doesn't  Boost only displayed on soot chuckers IIRC :sad1:
-
^^^ Didn't think so, but thought I would double check as a certain green person expressed an interest in this :happy2:
-
As already said it won't display boost on a TFSi only on those crappy tractor enigines
I have since found out it will display the battery voltage instead though so I just leave it on that now

actually i think it's how much voltage the generator produces, so you are able to see if the generator works :happy2:

I seem to remember that fishy and Stu had ones from the States that made boost and other things appear on the Maxidot.
It also generated huge amounts of fault codes so probably a bit 'early to market'.
-
I've had that in for 12 months! Ner ner

i knew it, why does it have to be so complicated, well then i have an E-MFA for sale :sad1:

I don't think the E-MFA works on it's own. I think you have to have the Fiscon Kit aswell.
The kit I fitted was the Fiscon Basic Plus kit. Everything you require is in the box.
Basically pull MFD3/Stereo out undo quadlock. Connect that to cable provided. Plug other end into stereo/MFD3 and then the two cables that branch off the loom one goes to the black fiscon box the other goes to the microphone.
The last thing you then need to do is using VCDS Select block 19 Can Gateway. Click coding then on byte 3 tick bit 7 (telephone) and that's it.
All done and if you have the MFD3 everything can be done from the touchscreen exactly as you can with OEM Bluetooth.
Good thing with this kit though is you can read texts that come through and reply to them ( with the preset replies most phones have ). You also with the plus kit get the E-MFA included
You can also use the steering wheel controls if you have MFSW or the wiper stalk. Also in a golf you can use the microphone for voice activation ( it doesn't in Skoda but I'm working on that )
I will do a proper thread later on today but suffice to say I'm mega chuffed with it.
