Right, I've had a recent problem with my cam belt snapping but I will soon be putting the car all back together after having the cylinder head stripped down and valves changed and head skimmed.
As a lot will know to do a cambelt change with a single piece cambelt cover is a pita as the engine mount needs to be removed and to do this you need to raise the engine.
I have heard a two piece cover off another golf can fit but don't know which. Does anyone know what one I need to look for?
Another idea I have had is to cut my cambelt cover in half but it's needs to be safe as I don't want it hitting the cambelt.
