Title: FRONT WIPERS NOT WORKING

So my front wipers stopped working i have checked all fuses even changed wiper motor still no diffrence.
Using vag com i get this code

 02071 - local databus 004 - no signal/communication

Could someone help

check the bonnet catch as if its faulty can cause this or your bonnet isnt shut

Bonnet is closed fully. If bonnet latch was faulty wouldnt it show on my display in my car as bonnet opened

Disconnect battery for 3 mins and re-connect. Solved our lasses washers not working issue, might work for the wipers too?

Not always.  My rear wiper, wash wipe and trunk light didn't work until I replaced the latch.  There was no 'boot open' graphic on the dash display.   Sometimes slamming the tailgate really hard would make them work temporarily.
