Do not buy those Chinese crap dog bones off eBay as mine is dead and if you're unlucky you'll snap the bolt out the bell housing :scared:
-
Well that lasted long....
Which part of it is dead? The bush?
-
Yeah ano
The bush disintegrated literally noticed the jerking one the thrust week so was driving it around until ramp was free last week. I'll take a picture as it's like an eraser literally fell apart.
-
Is there anything not cloned these days?!? The whole torque link with bush is only about £40 new from VW.
-
Absolutely everything is cloned and I sort of knew it would fail but for the price it was wanted to know and it looked good being black :signLOL:
Filled mine with poly tech and all is well, slight vibration as you'd expect from a torque bar and I do have the vibratecnic subframe mounts so that will increase the vibration with the poly filled mount.
-
had a powerflex one fitted in mine for the last month or so. Seems to feel more tighter up front with less vibration
-
I removed my power flex which was very good and fitted the Vtec ones but should have really left the power flex red in as it was doing its job very well but silly me wanted vtec as I'm :stupid:. :signLOL:

Powerflex red worked really well on the MK4 platform. They should do a pair of red solid bushes for the MK5 platform. I don't like those inserts. Mixing dissimilar materials isn't as effective as a solid bush made of the same material.

in all respect I found it to be quite good tbh but yes some day they'll make a complete solid bush but till that time it is what it is
