Title: How do I get VCDS?

Hi, I'll shortly be replacing the brake fluid and want to use VCDS to activate the ABS unit to ensure as much old fluid is removed from the system as possible.

Where can I get VCDS from? I've seen a few items for sale on Amazon and ebay but want to make sure I get something that will allow me to activate the ABS unit to flush out the fluid.

Can anyone give me a recommendation?

There are but they are clones, not supported by Ross-Tech

I have OBDeleven Pro, not sure if it will do the ABS purge but apparently it does a lot of basic settings etc so it may do.

It's a dongle which was £66 off eBay but you need an Android phone/tablet with an internet connection for it to work.

Or ask on the forum if a vcds owner near by will come and do it for you.

Full VCDS clones can be had from as little as £20 that will do the job perfectly fine.

I have a Carista - it’s good for basic health checks and adaptions but ultimately limited in functionality. I should get VCDS but likely a clone cable as the original is just too expensive for my needs.
