Title: Dsg in sport advice

Hi everyone. I haven’t had the car long but  I have a 08 gti dsg and when it’s in sport mode and I’m in 5th of 6th the car will randomly drop down to 3rd. In normal D it doesn’t do this. Is this normal? Cheers
