Title: Warm weather power loss
Post by: Lucky ducky on April 20, 2019, 05:14:40 pm
Don't know if it's just me but my car seems to have slightly less power than usual today outside temps at 24 "... This day last week temps at 12" and had more power any thoughts guys

Are we talking huge amounts of power of just slightly? Every engine (especially turbocharged) run better and more performance with cooler air.  So if you’re lacking slightly then I wouldn’t worry. I felt the same today tbh but not enough to worry me.

Yep.... turbos and high air intake temps are not a good combination. These cars (and other turbo cars) will always feel their best on a cold day.

Yeah not a huge drop not worried at all thanks .... I do love those temps in the sub zeros even more now though.
