Title: Mk 5 GTI - Registered 2010 - Anniversary Model?
Post by: dalerobsonn on November 08, 2019, 09:49:45 am
Hi all,

Query for a knowledgeable soul

I bought a mk 5 GTI last year, registered 2010. I'm a big fan of the mk 5 shape, seen the 2010 one and thought excellent, 2 years younger than any other mk 5

It was sold to me as a 'mk 5 anniversary model', however I cant seem to find any info to confirm this and as I have the car up for sale (£6500, 87k miles), I have been asked this question

Background check is all clear

Could someone explain this?

Cheers,
Dale

2010 registration sounds rather late for a mk5 - has it perhaps been imported from another rhd market like Cyprus / Asia? Also the only mk5 anniversary model that I am aware of was the Edition 30. Maybe if you post some photos of the car and under the bonnet then it might give some more clues.
