Title: Air intake worth it?

I’ve recently bought a MK5 1.4L Golf and I was thinking of changing the air intake. I’m mainly looking for a sound difference and power isn’t an issue. Is it worth the money on such a low litre engine?

If you just want noise, sure, experiment.  As you say, the ickle 1.4 isn't going to blow your socks off with power gains unfortunately.
