Title: Traction Control Light On
Post by: maxamplitude10 on March 05, 2021, 06:37:00 pm
Traction control light is on ONLY (Yellow)

I have just plugged into computer and have the following code:
059 B - Brake Pressure Sensor (Electrical Fault In Circuit)

Any ideas where to start with this guys?

Cheers Max

I'm 90% sure (Normally fault lists as G201)  thats a fault in the ABS unit itself sadly, its common on MK60 ABS unit used on BMW/Ford/VW/Audi etc etc. What tool was used to get the fault?

I would be getting it repaired by an ECU testing repair firm.

I only asked about the tool as it didn't give a VW style code eg 01435  :happy2:

Thanks GVK I have requested a quote from the guys you suggested
Annoying that these things always occur within a few weeks of MOT :slap:

Well no wonder VW stopped offering replacements for free, £300 for recon unit and ouch!!!
Used ones range from £50 to £120 but I guess its a fools errand as all will be a similar age now and prob prone to the same failure mine has had.

Thanks for all the assistance guys
