Hi guys!
I need a little help here the back seat of my car constantly gets wet especially the drivers side! now i know about the vent behind the rear bumper which can cause water to get in which i have sealed off but didn't do the trick
I can see a trail of water under the boot lining going towards the seat but i cant figure out where its coming from!!
has anyone else had this issue? can anyone point me to the right direction?

get the back seats out, get in the car and get someone to hose down the back of the car. You might see the leak that way.
Could be rear lights or anything.

Thanks mate i'll give that a go this weekend!

If you can strip the internal panels / carpet off to see metal panels - draw a horizontal chalk line, test with hose and the trickle of water will wash the line away.
Once found, work your way upwards till the source is found.
Mine had damp problems due to the hatch not being aligned - Golf had a random trailer light connector in the boot made me assumed that a PO had a bike rack on the hatch, weight of bikes pulled out the hatch at the top.
