Been to see  TCR today nice care 3,000  2020 on a 69 plate amazing trade in on my 17 GtI very tempted only one problem its grey not as bad in the flesh as I thought Tempted

tried a mk8 gti today didnt like the star trek dash so tried the TCR loved it put a deposit on it didnt realise it had an Akropovich icing on the cake cant believe the p/ex I got hoping to have next Tuesday cant wait

Got to agree with you on the MK8.  I do like the TCR though, sans the silly stickers up the sides though.  Good choice  :happy2:

Picked up TCR first impressions not as firm a ride as expected, Akrapovich not to loud fit and finish superb Looking forward to a decent run to Castle Combe saturday

God knows, was it on PCP previously? Maybe downgrading for economy or smaller monthly payment reasons.  I can't stand UPs.

did a few miles over the Brecon Beacons today quite a difference over the 7.5 GTI feels a lot quicker throttle is sharper, engine is quieter fuel consumption couple of mpg worse when cruising wants to get into top quickly not pushed it hard yet

Lovely roads.  I have fond memories of blasting my MK4 R32 around the Beacons.
Isn't the TCR essentially a FWD Golf R, which will explain the extra responsiveness.  A good trade off for a couple of mpg  :happy2:

i  live local so get up there  a lot nice run today highly illegal speed overtaking is so swift its a great car fwd R is about right i am loving it Castle Combe tomorrow watch some racing
