Hi all,
I have a a knocking noise and creaking from the rear of the car which seems to become apparent when the car is warmed up. The creaking seems to be worse when braking. I had the car the suspension checked and they said everything was fine and it would pass an mot no problem. Any ideas what this could be? maybe rear anti roll bar bushes and they have missed it? or could it be a steering rack problem? Thanks
edit : forgot to add it has a dogbone mount insert fitted aswell, could this cause a knocking/creak that sounds like its from the rear? Just strange how it seems to only start once the car is warmed up.

I had my rear pads creaking one year when hot, removed rear pads cleaned up mating surfaces and copper slipped, was fine.

Hmm that's a good shout, will get it checked. Take it that wouldn't also cause any knocking though?

The rear creaking I had recently were my rear ARB bushes. Removed the brackets and re-greased them.........all quiet again, so another possibility.
