Title: Intercooler needed for MK5 GTI 06

Hi all, I’m starting the process to stage 2 plus and I’m yet to source all the parts I need. The most elusive of all being a fully functioning used S3 8P or MK6R Intercooler under £160. If anyone is aware of any listings or if you’re selling one yourself please let me know! Thanks,

Pre-Brexit/Covid... These used to be under £150 new:

I would be tempted to stretch the budget for as new part

Thanks, I’ve had a look at the link. Do you know what power the Intercooler you posted is good for? Is it as good as the OEM S3 Intercooler?

Can't say - but... I would have got one myself.
I have used Nissens stuff for years, happy with build quality - but for my Mk5 I ended up getting distracted by a Chinese clone of the Wagna intercooler.
Check out the members section,Shannon ob's track car runs one,  it is currently at TSR for tuning and is expected to make 380bhp.
Also consider the state of your AC condenser, if that's goosed it will block air getting to the intercooler.
