Title: MK6 GTD exhaust fit MK5 GTI ed30?

Hi,

The exhaust on our mk5 gti ed30 is blowing ever so slightly, I could probably get it welded but would an cat back exhaust off a MK6 GTD fit my Ed30? They seem very similar

The TDi exhausts are longer up to the cat, so technically it would but will need some chopping.
I looked into this when I was going to fit a new standard exhaust to mine. Be wary of cheap pattern parts though, the centre silencer is a different type and moves in position depending on brand, so there’s a chance it might not fit.

Can see on Scorpions website, parts 1,2,3 are identical.

Thanks for replying. The mk6 gtd exhaust is a genuine one so hopefully the centre box is in the same position.

I'll mull over it.
