That's what I use - Quantum 5w-40

I use Quantum 5w40 in the summer and 5w30 in the winter.......works for me

Go onto the Opie oils website - they have many reviews and deals on oils ..... Quantum or Fuchs oils best for me

Millers nanotech 5/40 in mine.
Buy from Opie, if you're lucky they might have a sale :signLOL:

I change my oil really frequently so tend to use quantum 3/4 of the time and millers the other 1/4.
I bought millers last month off ebay and it was £50 vs £20 odd for quantum.

No such thing as ‘best’ with oil, or any orher car part/consumable that is subjective. Everyone’s own personal choice is naturally the best
Just throw in whatever suits your budget.

Can't go wrong with £20/5L delivered I linked above.

I agree...if you are changing oil at every 5k miles on a daily, none of the full synthetic (F/S) oils are going to break down in there and become useless. F/S oils take a long time and a lot of use before they stop protecting.
I use LiquiMoly 5w40 now and used VW recommended; Castrol EDGE 5w40 for the first 120k miles.
My owner's Manual (N. America) states a F/S 5w40 VW 502.00 is to be used; but if 5w40 isn't available, then it is OK to use a 5w30 that is VW 502.00 approved.
