Title: Steering Wheel Upgrade
Post by: Divrenek on December 13, 2021, 09:24:41 am
Hi, had seen this asked before, but couldn't access the link for some reason.
I have a 2009 mk5 golf gti with the paddles, and was wanting to upgrade it to have the steering wheel multifunction buttons on it too. I was wondering if this is possible and if so what it would take. - Whether it would need a whole new steering wheel, or if I could just somehow put the buttons onto the current one, and if I would need the new module thing.

Cheers

I believe you can just add the buttons and wiring to the dsg wheel. You may need a new steering control module but it may already have a compatible one already fitted.
