Title: Golf mk5 gti 2006 intake manifold motor
Post by: Ausboz on April 24, 2022, 09:12:40 am
Hi guys, I am new to the forum and I have a few issues with the golf. My intake manifold motor died 06F133482B and I replaced it with 06F133482E from Amazon which isn’t oem. I get an adaptation error when I try to adapt it with vcds. My question is has anyone had experience with these non oem motors ?

Thanks

I believe the E version needs the newer manifold as they revised it from the 05 to 06 models.

Had a similar issue and when I got the same part num as the original it all worked and adapted ......I have a genuine E now in the garage somewhere, until the original manifold fails and needs a new one LOL

Interesting. Reading previous posts most people say that if your original part had a letter at the end you could use all of the revisions except the one with no letter at the end.
