Title: New InTank Fuel Pump Issue

Just had a new intank fuel pump fitted to my 2008 Gti.  On idle it’s now making whining buzzing noise from the intank pump.  Any suggestions?  The original one was silent until it needed replacing.  Thanks.

Is it a genuine part?

The only fuel pumps I've had that have made noise like that have been made by facet.

Topran stuff is usually OK - maybe a hose is folded over/pinched in the tank
any running issues?

No running issues.  I can only hear it sometimes buzzing away quietly then sometimes its fine.  Very odd.
