Title: Falken FK452 tyres
Post by: Nickyboy on April 07, 2010, 09:36:08 pm
Bought 2 of these for £171 fitted at blackcircles, most reviews were good and for that price for 225 18s I'm quite chuffed. Fitting on Saturday, will let you know what I think.

good tyres and a great price too - only slight issue I would have is the rim protection was minimal on My std Ed30 rims.
Ended up changing them for fear of damaging the wheels.

Good grip though!

Poor rim protection and poor grip in my opinion. Hopefully for your sake you will disagree with the latter when you test yours out!

They always seem to squeal, something that the Goodyear Eagle F1's and the Michelin Pilot Exalto's never did!

This always happens, pages of pages of great reviews, then I pay online and the reviews turn bad!  :sad1:

Oh don't listen to me haha! You have to bear in mind that I'm comparing them to tyres that are probably £50 more expensive per corner.

They are fine, but if I bought them as a 'performance tyre' then I wouldn't be happy. I only bought them because I am selling the car. Good price I must admit! And I quite like the tread/sidewall design!
