Hello there, Does anyone have any tips regarding xenon bulb replacement on me edition 30? Removal of lens requires removal of front bodywork to get to bottom securing bolt (GTIs bolt accessible but ED30 bodykit is different) . Does anyone have pointers?
Cheers in advance

You can replace the bulbs in situ. It's not easy, but doable. You can't remove the lenses as they're bonded on.

I’ve replaced the Xenon bulbs in my ED30. Disconnect the battery and everything else was easy.

Hi, thanks for the pointers - i ended up taking inner arches, undertray and bumper off! good chance to scrub a few areas though
Next is DSG service...

If you ever have to do this again you can access the lower T25 screw by pulling out the headlight washer. There’s a hole that allows direct access to it, add a long extension to your T25 and your able to get directly too it, can take the headlight out in a few mins, just don’t drop the screw :(
