Title: The Eagle has landed
Post by: NeilM on April 29, 2010, 03:19:51 pm
Just dropped at dealers, was going to paint wheels black before I pick it up next week,  but they are a nice Gunmetal grey finish so going to leave them for a while, well at least untill my wife drives it.

Looking mint that Neil. Have you gone for the DCT box I take it? What is the new single turbo engine like for tuning? I heard that they think it won't be as tunable as the old twin turbo unit?

The blocks are still on in the pic, 19" Double spoke wheels look nice, may still need a wack with the lowering stick though

Its got the 7 Speed DCT with paddles, had a chat with AMD who are getting near 400hp from the old 335i, they wont have had a go at this new one yet though, but this is me trying to be 'sensible' so not sure how far I'll take it.

Nice to see you guys again, think I'm going for the Recaro Sportster CS seats as they can still tilt & slide.
A mate, Phil Morris, has the red Gti there which is running in the VW Cup (No24), we were having a good look at how far you can go while still staying road legal.

Have a good Ring trip, part of my spec was to be able to drive there with out my teeth falling out :happy2:

The only problem you will have Theo is you will never be able to bring yourself to sell it, its worse than crack.

Nice one Neil, looking good.  Those wheels are the performance wheels arent they, I am having the other style on my 335d when it arrives, albeit June now as its been delayed.
