Title: cost of fitting?
Post by: edd666999 on June 07, 2010, 02:32:42 pm
I'm getting the following fitted at once, what sort of cost for labour would you expect?

Coilovers
Arbs
Whiteline anti lift
R32 brakes

Thanks!

Erm, JKM charged me something like £300 for fitting my Bilsteins/WALK/SuperPro bushes and £100 for my Brembo brakes. So I guess there's some ballpark figures for you. Dunno about the ARBs.

Did you fit all the superpro bushes or just the front wishbone ones because £300 is a good price for all of them done?

I design cars for a living. If I want someone to fit my suspension for me because I have neither the time nor inclination to do so, that's my prerogative; doesn't mean I am not capable of it.

Wasn't the full set, was just the front wishbones. Was going to go for the Powerflex ones but they didn't have them in stock so I got the Superpro ones. In PVW last month the dude got all the Superpro bushes fitted to his car, was something like £500 for the lot I think?

does this mean you wana do it for me?  i'll but you a pint! tell you what ill buy you 2 :signLOL:

i could fit them all myself, but it would be a slow process with no ramp + non of the appropriate tools. having only fit coilovers once before i wouldn't feel confident enough fitting them to my golf!
