Title: ESP & tyre pressure sensor warning light coming on?
Post by: Pullafacial on July 07, 2010, 09:05:21 am
3 or 4 times in the last couple of weeks my ESP and tyre pressure warning lights have decided to come on mid journey and stay on until ignition is switched off and on again.

Anyone seen this before or got any ideas as to what it could be?

Have you checked the tyre pressures?

Hi ant - not recently, could a low pressure on a tyre cause ESP light to come on?
When this happens, the buttons near the ashtray won't turn off the lights.

Dont the tyre pressure run off the ABS Sensors, thought they detect a difference in rolling radius. Maybe its an ABS sensor problem

Just checking, you need to hold that button down for a while before it turns the warning off?

Just checking, you need to hold that button down for a while before it turns the warning off?

Pressing and holding i believe resets the value that would trigger the alarm again
