Title: GTI sold!

Well after many months of uming and ahing I have finally sold the GTI....to my brother!didnt really want to see anyone else take it away and so this is the perfect solution as I can still have the odd drive in it! Just need to find a replacement now. I'm looking at:

Freelander 2
Discovery 2 V8
Discovery 3

Driven all,like all, just a case of finding the right deal!

Disco 3 would be my 1st choice imo. Great car

Yeah they are nice cars, bit big for someone my age but they look so good with a few off road extras on!apparently manual will return approx 33mpg! Found a nice one but I'm off on holiday saturday so cant really make a move.

This was the high miler IIRC.

How the leg noe then??

yep its a high miler although has done next to nothing in the last 3 months due to my ankle!
Ankle is getting there, I can now walk short distances without a crutch and drive as well, I borrowed a freelander auto for a bit as it was a better driving position for my ankle. Got to go back to hospital after my holiday as the joint is really noisy and clicking and rubbing so they thing something may not be quite right. :sad:
For me this last bit is the worst as I'm right on the edge of being independently mobile again and its so frustrating I just want to go for a run!
